“I’ve never talked to so many presidents at one time,” Biden said from Camp David.

He spoke with Morgan Freeman, Tony Goldwyn, Geena Davis, Michael Douglas and Bill Pullman in a virtual discussion.

“Well, sir, in my capacity as president, all I’ve had to deal with is a meteorite. One of the things I talked about in my speech was hope. Hope is the most powerful force that exists in our country. .It’s the most useful and the most effective,” said Morgan Freeman, recalling his time on Deep Punch.

Goldwyn admitted he “behaved very badly” as president on the aptly-titled Scandal, but offered Biden advice: “Tell them you’re there for them — tell them they make you a better person.” And he also advised him to relax with what he loves most – ice cream.

Michael Douglas told her that he learned from his experience as a commander-in-chief that having a loving partner makes all the difference. “Love and compassion as a leader are strengths. They are not weaknesses, but are key to your character. So let it show in your speech. And don’t forget to save the dance for the first lady,” advised the actor, who played the role of the president in “The American President.”

Bill Pullman, president of Independence Day, also offered perspective: “We cannot allow our petty differences to consume us, and we will unite in our common interests.”
