In addition, half of Romanians believe that the 2024 elections will be fair, while 7 out of 10 believe that they will be greatly and very much affected by disinformation and fake news.
58.1% of respondents claim that they will vote in the elections to the European Parliament for the party or alliance of which the elected candidate for the post of mayor is a member. 34.9% say that in the elections to the European Parliament they will have a different choice than the party/alliance of which the elected candidate for the position of mayor is a member. 2.9% said they were undecided, 3.3% said they were not going to vote, and 0.7% did not answer.

The survey was conducted by INSCOP Research on the order of News.ro Press Agency. The data were collected from February 22 to 29 by the CATI method (telephone interviews), using a questionnaire. The size of the simple stratified sample is 1100 people, representative of significant socio-demographic categories (gender, age, profession) for the non-institutionalized population of Romania aged 18 and over.
The maximum permissible data error is ± 2.95% with a confidence level of 95%.
