Mihai Pintilius was suspended for a month after the red card received in the match against FC Voluntari

The match between FC Voluntari and FCSB was not easy for the leader of the Super League, who lost 1:0 in the second half.

Sebastian Kolcescu was at the center of the game, and the decision of the referee of the game caused the displeasure of the FCSB management in several lines.

It happened at one point during the game when Elias Charalambous and Mihai Pintilius were competing in a phase that took place right in front of the FCSB bench.

Kolcescu went to the side of the field to show Pintilia a yellow card, but he ignored the referee and was shown a red card.

Initially, the Disciplinary Commission of the FRF suspended Pintilia for two stages, but reversed its decision and he will be absent from the bench for a month.

“Elimination of Pintilii Doru Mihai (guests) – Correction of the decision – In accordance with the provisions of Art. 122 RD, orders to make changes to Decision No. 109/CDE/2024 dated 01.03.2024 as follows:

According to Art. 53.1 RD, Pintilia delegate Doru Mihai is punished with a one-month disqualification and a sports fine of 320 lei.” – says the press release sent out on Wednesday by the Disciplinary Commission.
