​The BAC 2024 simulation begins on Monday, March 4, with the Romanian language exam, in which future high school graduates can test their knowledge in anticipation of the June and July baccalaureate exams by solving the subjects. The Romanian BAC 2024 mock test starts at 9:00 a.m., when the BAC 2024 mock Romanian subjects will be distributed in each room.

The time allotted for processing the written work is three hours from the end of the distribution of Romanian language subjects for the 2024 undergraduate simulation.

Romanian subjects and scale models for the BAC 2024 simulation

The Ministry of Education has published the model subjects in Romanian and the scales on the basis of which students could prepare for the 2024 BA simulation. They have the same structure as the subjects in Romanian studied by BAC students in previous years.

Romanian subjects and BAC 2024 simulation scale – human and real – in the countries where the simulation was organized

Before the BAC 2024 simulation at the national level with unique subjects in Romanian, a bachelor simulation at the county level was organized earlier this year.

Below are the subjects in Romanian language taken for the 2024 Bachelor simulation in the counties:

The Romanian language subjects for the BAC 2024 simulation are developed based on the content/skills associated with them, according to the simulation programs approved by the Ministry of Education. Subjects and scales are published on each exam day at 3:00 PM on a dedicated web page.

BAC 2024 mock papers will be digitally corrected through the platform used by the Ministry of Education and to simulate the National Assessment tests for Grade 8. The results of the 2024 Bachelor’s exam simulation will be announced separately on March 15, 2024 and will be analyzed at the level of each academic unit through discussions with students, meetings with parents, and at the level of the teacher’s council. Grades are not entered into the catalog, but, as an exception, upon written request of the student/parent, they may be entered into the catalog.

According to the Ministry of Education, more than 146,000 12th and 13th grade evening/correspondence students from more than 1,320 academic units will participate in the BAC 2024 simulation.

Which Romanian language subjects have failed in the simulation of real and human BAC in recent years

In 2023, students of real and human profiles received the text “I met Liviu Rebreana” by Vasile Ticescu from the volume “Memories of Liviu Rebreana” from the first subject in Romanian on the BAC simulation. In the second subject, the poem “Versuras” by Tudor Arghezi failed. The third subject of the Romanian language at the undergraduate simulation in 2023 had as a requirement to present the relationship between two characters from the investigated cult fairy tale (human), respectively, the peculiarities of the construction of the character from the investigated cult fairy tale (real).

Last year, 79.4% of students received passing grades in the simulation of the Romanian bachelor. 295 students managed to get a score of 10. However, the highest number of Romanian scores in the BAC 2023 simulation was in segment 5 – 5.99: 26,104.

The 2024 Bachelor simulation starts on Monday with the Romanian language exam and ends with the announcement of the results on March 15.

Undergraduate calendar 2024

According to the Ministry of Education, in 2024 the bachelor’s degree exam calendar will be as follows:

• June 17-19 – assessment of oral communication skills in Romanian, test A;
• June 19-20 – assessment of speaking skills in the native language, sample B;
• June 19-21 – assessment of digital skills, test D;
• June 25-27 – evaluation of language skills of an international colloquial language;
• July 1 – written exam in Romanian language and literature;
• July 2 – compulsory professional external examination, written external examination;
• July 4 – ZNO on choosing a profile, written ZNO;
• July 5 – written test on native language and literature;
• July 8 – presentation of the results of written control works by 12:00 and submission of appeals from 12:00 to 18:00;
• July 9-11 – consideration of appeals;
• July 12 – display of final results at BAC 2024.
