Pulkovo Airport was closed for about an hour for aircraft arrivals and departures, with the exception of military and rescue aircraft.

According to Fontanka, residents of the city of Lomonosov (part of St. Petersburg) complained on Saturday evening in public places about loud noises and explosions in the Bronka port area.

One of the residents said that “a rocket broke into five pieces.”

Eyewitnesses reported that “houses were shaking and windows were shaking” in two villages near the Gulf of Finland.

Later, the governor of the Leningrad region, Oleksandr Drozdenko, wrote in his Telegram channel that “air targets” were shot down over the Gulf of Finland by air defense systems, and published a video of the destroyed object in the sky, which he replaced with a screenshot later.

Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems “destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle over the territory of the Leningrad region.” It is not known if the ground was damaged.
