Farul Constanta made another wrong move in the Romanian Super League and is still fighting for the playoffs.

The Romanian champions drew at home to CFR Cluj and need a win in the final leg of the regular season against FC Botosani to make the play-offs.

At the end of the CFR game, Hyke Hagi said his team deserved to win, but he also acknowledged the qualities of Adrian Mutu, who he described as a creative coach.

“We undoubtedly deserved the victory. We played a very good match until the last minutes. In the last phase I didn’t take the second ball, I knew I was doing it. This is football, let’s move on. I played a good match. We tried to place them in space and time. They have valuable players. They were a little disappointed, but I cheered them up. We have time to recover mentally and physically, and then win at the last stage.

We are not here to blame anyone. The whole team worked, the whole team wanted. The opponent made it to the playoffs, there was no pressure. We had a lot of chances, we should have scored more.
