National Peasant Alliance President Radu Gideu announced Saturday night via press release that the decision to end cooperation with AUR was made unanimously at the party’s leadership forums, “after a detailed analysis of behavior and actions.” » of AUR leader George Simion.

This is the second entity that emerges from the “sovereignist pole” formed around the AUR. On Friday, the leader of the National Identity Force party, Ilan Laufer, a former PSD minister, announced his separation from the AUR Alliance, accusing George Simion of pressuring members of the alliance to register directly on the AUR platform and hand over their membership records. “thus undermining the legal autonomy and integrity of the constituent parties.”

In November, AUR leader George Simion announced the creation of a “sovereignist pole”, an alliance that gravitates around the AUR and included the National Peasant Alliance led by Radu Gideu, the Republican Party led by Marian Kucha, the National Identity Force – PSL – Ilan Laufer and the National Alliance Revival – Peter Costea.
