A bakery in Sector 6 of the capital was fined 15,000 lei by the Commissariat for Consumer Protection after several people filed complaints. In addition, Friday’s products were finally withdrawn from the market.
ANPC announced on Saturday the inspection of the Commissariat for the Protection of Consumer Rights, Sector 6 (CPCS6) at the workplace of the economic operator Panion Prod Com SRL, in Sector 6 of the capital (Bread Factory), writes news.ro.
The following sanctions were applied for the detected violations:
- fines for violations in the amount of 15,000 lei
- temporary suspension of services until deficiencies are eliminated
- final withdrawal of products on 01.03.2024 at the location and on the way to customers, respectively, 5,600 pcs.
“When the alerts about this operator came out, we acted quickly, and what we discovered saddened and shocked us at the same time. – storage of cleaning products near the production line
– the use of unhygienic trays with massive deposits of fat, food residues and burns
– the use of cars with deposits of pollution, with grease and rust, with cigarette butts near the cars on the sidewalk, which indicates smoking in these premises.
– the use of a refrigerating unit designed to store yeast with massive deposits of ice and unsanitized yeast.
– storage of moldy bread boats and leftovers in the same storage area as bread boats intended for delivery
– storage of packaging and items of clothing on the sidewalk,
