The simulation of the 2024 bachelor’s exam begins on Monday, with the first written test in Romanian language and literature. According to the Ministry of Education, more than 146,000 12th and 13th grade students will participate in the BAC 2024 simulation.

The Ministry of Education announced on Saturday that the simulation of the 2024 bachelor’s exam will be organized in more than 1,320 educational institutions and will involve the participation of – according to estimates – more than 146,000 students.

Written tests consist of the following subjects: Romanian language and literature – test E) a), native language and literature (for students of all fields, profiles and specializations who studied in secondary school in the language of national minorities) – test E) b), mathematics, history , physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, geography, logic, reasoning and communication, psychology, economics, sociology and philosophy – tests E) c) and E) d).

Subjects are developed based on the content/skills associated with them, according to simulation programs approved by the Ministry of Education. Subjects and scales are published every exam day at 3:00 PM on a dedicated web page.

BAC 2024 Simulation Calendar:

  • March 4 – test E) a) – written test – Romanian language and literature – test E) a)
  • March 5 – control E)c) – written control work – mandatory profile control work
  • March 6 – test D) d) – written control – test for choosing a profile and specialization
  • March 7 – test E)b) – written test – Native language and literature
  • March 15: announcement of results

The works will be corrected digitally through the platform used by the Ministry of Education to simulate external examinations for 8th grades.

The results will be reported individually on March 15, 2024 and analyzed at the level of each educational unit through a discussion with students, a meeting with parents, as well as at the level of the pedagogical council. Grades are not entered into the catalog, but, as an exception, upon written request of the student/parent, they may be entered into the catalog.

Undergraduate calendar 2024

According to the Ministry of Education, in 2024 the bachelor’s degree exam calendar will be as follows:

  • June 17-19 – assessment of oral communication skills in Romanian, test A;
  • June 19-20 – assessment of speaking skills in the native language, sample B;
  • June 19-21 – assessment of digital skills, test D;
  • June 25-27 – evaluation of language skills of an international colloquial language;
  • July 1 – written exam in Romanian language and literature;
  • July 2 – compulsory professional external examination, written external examination;
  • July 4 – ZNO on choosing a profile, written ZNO;
  • July 5 – written test on native language and literature;
  • July 8 – presentation of the results of written control works by 12:00 and submission of appeals from 12:00 to 18:00;
  • July 9 – 11 – resolution of appeals;
  • July 12 – show of final results at BAC 2024.
