The leader of the National Identity Force party, Ilan Laufer, a former PSD minister, announces the separation from the “AUR Alliance” and accuses George Simeon of pressuring members of the alliance to register directly on the AUR platform and hand over members’ records, “thus undermining the legal the status of autonomy and the integrity of the constituent parties”.

Ilan Laufer made the announcement on Facebook on Friday, accusing “an attempt to remove sovereign parties from the AUR Alliance:

• “Since we joined the AUR Alliance, the AUR President has been pressuring members of the Alliance parties to register directly on the AUR platform and submit members’ records, thus undermining the legal autonomy and integrity of the constituent parties.
• This behavior indicates that the AUR Alliance was designed mainly to illegally transfer members of constituent parties to the AUR Party, an attempt to remove sovereign parties from the Alliance with the express purpose of confiscating and destroying the nationalist and sovereignist movement in Romania. The protocol was signed from the beginning for media purposes only, to avoid the public perception that the President of AUR is an isolated and obscure figure on the political landscape.
• Although many honest Romanians are pinning their hopes on this political project, the president of the AUR, in an attempt to destroy the sovereignist movement, insists that his main strategy remains focused on the blockade, the circus and the media scandal, even though the people are waiting for real solutions to the pressing problems they face “.

Ilan Laufer also states the “contempt and humiliation beyond words” with which George Simeon treated his closest associates.

• “Thus, both I and my colleagues from the FIN party have dedicated our efforts and work in the AUR Alliance to contribute to this political construction.
• However, we believe that the revealed reality is cruel and contradicts the protocol we signed, as well as the basic democratic principles and nationalist and sovereign values ​​for which we are fighting, therefore all colleagues from the FIN leadership unanimously decided to withdraw from the AUR Alliance”, – also states Ilan Laufer.

In November, AUR leader George Simion announced the launch of the “sovereignist pole”, an alliance that gravitates around the AUR and includes four other political formations: the National Peasant Alliance led by Radu Gideu, the Republican Party led by AUR Marian Kuksa, The National Identity Force – PSL – Ilan Laufer and National Revival Alliance – Peter Costea.

“Our goal is to achieve success in the last parliamentary and presidential elections, in November-December 2024, with the majority of Romanian votes. In this sense, we call with us in the GOLDEN Sovereign Pole all formations, associations, individuals who oppose the so-called PSD-PNL Democratic Bloc. Especially after the scandal with Mrs. Lasconi, we see that we are the only ones who defend normal, natural values, and we must be strong to win.
