
Rescuers from the county of Niamc intervened on Thursday evening to rescue four people who were stuck in extremely difficult terrain between Trecaotarea Ursului and Poliţa cu Ariniş, from the Ceahlău mountain range, News.ro reported. The intervention is long-term.
According to representatives of Salvamont Romania, rescuers from the Salvamont Service of the Neamt County Council intervened on Thursday evening to lift and rescue four people who were stuck in an extremely difficult area between Trecaotarea Ursului and Poliţa cu Arinis.
“The action is extremely difficult, the four got stuck in a steep sector with sticking ice and snow. According to rescuers, the action will last more than 6-7 hours, and there is hope that the clothes in which the 4 are dressed will allow them to withstand low temperatures after dark, they said.
