Williams (43 years old), Wozniacki (33 years old) and Reducanu (21 years old) are at different stages of their careers, but are among the most popular players on the WTA, the organizers of the tournament wrote.

Three-time Miami champion Venus Williams won seven Grand Slam titles in a career that saw her compete in 93 majors.

Instead, Australian Open champion and Miami 2017 finalist Caroline Wozniacki returns after a five-year hiatus after having two children.

Emma Reducanu, the unbeaten 2021 US Open qualifier, is expected to return to Miami after missing most of the 2023 season with injury.

Another name that will receive a wildcard for the tournament in Miami is Japan’s Kei Nishikori, who is returning to the court for the first time since July 2023.

A former world No. 4 in 2015, Nishikori has won 12 ATP titles and was a finalist at the 2014 US Open, becoming the first Asian player to reach a major final.

The remaining patterns for singles, doubles and qualifiers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Miami Open 2024 will be held from March 17 to 31, 2024 on hard, is included in the “Masters 1000” category, and the champions of the title were Daniil Medvedev and Petra Kvitova.
