Cristiano Ronaldo is under investigation after he made obscene gestures towards fans in the stands during Al Nassr’s 3-2 win at Al Shabab Stadium, with the Lustian star giving an explanation to the Ethics and Disciplinary Commission League of Saudi Arabia.

“My gesture expresses strength and it is not something shameful,” says Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo faces a two-match ban and a fine for responding to fans chanting the name of his arch-rival Lionel Messi.

The Saudis write that the Portuguese would come up with a strange explanation for the moment at the end of the game.

“I respect all clubs and my gesture at the end of the match shows strength and is not something shameful. We are used to it in Europe,” Cristiano Ronaldo would say before the Disciplinary Committee.

Al-Nassr has 52 points from 21 matches and is in 2nd place, seven points behind leaders Al-Hilal. Cristiano Ronaldo is the league’s top scorer with 22 goals and 9 assists.
