According to a press release sent by the prosecutor’s office in Montargie, gendarmes confiscated 72 firearms and more than 3,000 rounds of ammunition from the property of Alain Delon in Duches (Loire).

According to prosecutor Jean-Cédric Guo, the investigation is ongoing on charges of “illegal possession of weapons”, “illegal acquisition and possession of category A, B and C weapons”. The investigators also noted the presence of a shooting range on the territory of the facility.

The search was conducted after the opening of another investigation by the prosecutor’s office related to the tension that arose between the children of Alain Delon.

“My client is very concerned that Alain Delon is being held without medical attention with a gun next to him,” Yacine Bouzrou, the lawyer for the woman who was Delon’s nurse, told us.

According to gendarme investigations, the general practitioner who examined Alain Delon last summer noted that the latter’s morale was “low” and that he no longer “expected anything”. He even spoke of “a state of physical and psychological exhaustion with a high risk of suicide.” In 2019, the great actor suffered a stroke.

In addition, in a recent interview with Elle magazine, Anoushka Delon, the actor’s daughter, explained that she “always goes with her bodyguard” to the family property, recalling her father’s passion for firearms. Le Parisien says that it was this statement that prompted Jean-Cédric Gau, the Montargie (Loiret) prosecutor, to launch a new investigation.
