Al Ittihad advanced to the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League on Thursday night with a 2-1 win over Navbahor Namangan.

Karim Benzema had a poor night in the Champions League despite Al Ittihad progressing to the quarter-finals.

The former striker of “Real” opened the scoring (min. 25), but for the visitors, recovering with a header into his own goal.

Benzema also corrected his mistake and made a decisive pass to score 1:1, which Hamdall scored (min. 45+6).

In the second half, the French also had a goal disallowed for offside in the 75th minute.

The final score came in the 87th minute when Tabatadze scored an own goal to give Al Ittihad the win.
