Anna Kalinska (40 WTA) reached the semifinals of the WTA tournament in Dubai.

The player, who is ranked 40th in the world, defeated Coco Gauff (3 WTA) in three sets after a match that lasted two hours and 15 minutes.

Kalinska lost the first set 6-2, but made an impressive comeback to eventually win.
