Marcel Čolaka and Nicolae Chuke were asked on Wednesday whether the political project of the two parties also envisages a single presidential candidate from the PNL and PSD.

Cholaku says he will wait for Romanians to vote in the June 9 election and announce their decision on June 10. He added that PSD and PNL should prepare a national program by that time.

“I believe that this is a fair and well-chosen moment, when both parties should manage the executive power and the decisions of the Romanian Parliament. You know, the Government and the Parliament do not conduct videos on Facebook during meetings and insults. You do not rule a country and a settlement with scandals, chaos and arrogance. They behave completely differently. I think that during this period, both parties with the specialists they have can develop a country project. And after we see what the Romanians will decide, since it is also fair and respects the Romanians’ vote, why not, let’s gather in a coalition on June 10 to decide for the next period,” said Marcel Colacu, according to News .ro.

Cholak was also asked to what extent the PSD is ready to support the PNL candidate in the presidential election.

“I am very interested to see the decision of the Romanians at the vote on June 9, and I firmly believe that, as now, we will go to you on June 10 and say what we have decided. The most important thing is that by that time the two big parties have a ready state program to present to Romanians,” said Marcel Colacu.

Nikolay Chuke also said that the decision will be made at the PNL leaders’ forums.

“This decision will be made at the forums of the party leadership. Every decision that I came up with and presented publicly went through the analysis of the leadership structures of the party, members of the PNL, presidents of branches, the leadership of the party will be the one who will determine in which direction we will take one decision or another,” he told Nicolae Chuke.
