According to News.ro, a woman from Brasov was pre-arrested for 30 days after she physically assaulted her 79-year-old mother-in-law. The victim was beaten with hands and feet, and he received a certificate that he needed several days of medical assistance.

A violent incident took place on Saturday in a building in the municipality of Brasov.

A person reported to the police that one of his neighbors was being beaten by his relatives.

“Immediately after receiving the message, a police team arrived at the indicated address and established that the 79-year-old woman was beaten with hands and feet by her daughter-in-law, who lived in the same house. Medical aid was provided for the injuries he inflicted on the injured person, and medical documents showed that he needed medical aid for several days,” the Brasov District Police reported on Sunday.

The police opened criminal proceedings, and on the basis of the prepared risk assessment form, it turned out that “there is an immediate threat of violence”, in connection with which the police issued a temporary protective order against the aggressive woman.

The accused of beating his mother-in-law is 54 years old. She was detained for 24 hours, after which she was taken to the court, which ordered a preventive measure for the aunt for 30 days.
