“Milan” lost to “Monza” with a score of 4:2

Milan missed the chance to climb to second place in Serie A.

The team coached by Stefano Pioli suffered a setback in Monza after the match ended with a quantitative defeat for the visitors.

Despite a fairly even game, the hosts scored twice before the break. First, Pessina opened the score (min. 45) by converting a penalty, then Dani Mota increased Monza’s lead in the sixth minute of overtime.

In the second half, Milan’s nightmare continued: Jovic was sent off for an elbow. However, the visitors showed signs of a comeback and reduced the deficit in the 65th minute thanks to Olivier Giroud, who has scored 12 goals this season.

Milan even managed to restore parity in the 88th minute through Christian Pulisic, but two minutes later the hosts scored again through Bondo.

In addition, “Monza” also scored the 4th goal, thanks to Colombo (min. 90+5).
