The former world leader has sued a Canadian company that made a nutritional supplement believed to have led to a potentially career-ending doping ban, Reuters reports.

Simona Halep is seeking more than $10 million in damages from Quantum Nutrition, which trades as Schinoussa Superfoods, after testing positive for Roxadustat at the 2022 US Open.

Halep is also seeking damages in a lawsuit filed in Manhattan, New York state court.
