The management of Barcelona is interested in the situation of Roberto De Zerbi, the coach of Brighton

Javi Hernandez has already announced that he will leave Barcelona at the end of this season, and the management of the Catalan club are considering several options to replace the man who made history as a player at Camp Nou.

One of them is the Italian Roberto De Dzerbi, who played for CFR Cluj in 2010-2012.

The 44-year-old Italian took charge of Brighton in September 2022 and in his first season managed to lead the team to the group stage of the European Cups for the first time.

Now the Spaniards from Sport.es write that he is among the favorites of the Barcelona management for the position of head coach, he has a contract with Brighton until the summer of 2026.

In addition, De Zerby’s release clause is €15 million, an aspect that is a little disconcerting for Barcelona in the context of the financial problems the club is facing.

Before taking charge of Brighton, Roberto De Zerbi also coached Darfo Boario, Foggia, Palermo, Benevento, Sassuolo and Shakhtar Donetsk.
