TASS quotes Tsydenov as saying that “Tucker Carlson visited our stand at the VDNG (Exhibition of National Economic Achievements in Moscow), he was told about buretia, then he tried Buryat gel. [costumul național al bureaților]. It suits him very well.”
The head of this region in the south-east of Siberia says that the American TV presenter was given postcards with landscapes from Lake Baikal, and in a conversation with journalists present at VDNG, he told them that he wanted to visit the lake region.
Chairman Sponge says he expects Carlson’s visit
“We are looking forward to your visit,” the head of Buryatia wrote on his Telegram channel, where he shared a photo in which he claims Carlson is depicted.
An American TV presenter’s interview with President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin was widely criticized in the Western media, as the former Fox News journalist did not confront the Russian leader on his many questionable claims and gave him a platform to repeat Moscow’s propaganda.
Putin also said that Poland was responsible for starting World War II because it resisted the demands of Nazi dictator and murderer Adolf Hitler, who wanted to annex part of its territory.
Another strange moment of the interview happened when the TV presenter asked Putin about the “dissatisfaction” of some peoples with Transylvania, including the Russian president, who avoided answering the question.
Tsidenov noted that the photo of Carlson in the popular sponge costume was taken in Moscow on February 5, the same day the Kremlin said it did not know what the American TV host was doing in Russia.
The information that Carlson is in Russia appeared a few days before, several Russian Telegram channels published his image in the Russian capital.
