A 35-year-old female driver was caught by the police in traffic, in the radius of the city of Potlogi, with the number plates of another car and during the control became aggressive with the law enforcement officers, informs IPJ Dâmboviţa on Sunday.

  • “On January 11 of this year, the police officers of the Titus road unit, being in the radius of the settlement of Potlogy, stopped for control a car driven by a 35-year-old resident of the village. During the control, after the police informed the woman that, from the first checks, the number plates of the car she was driving were assigned to another vehicle, the driver showed verbal aggression and refused to cooperate with the police, at the time when they used the endowment funds to take him to the headquarters of the police unit to take legal action,” the District Police Inspectorate (IPJ) of Dâmboviţa said, according to Agerpres.

The police have opened criminal proceedings for the fact that a vehicle with a forged registration number was put into circulation or moved on public roads.

IPJ Dâmboviţa reports that investigations are also underway into the behavior of the police officers who intervened.

“Regarding the behavior of the police and the way of intervention, the management of the Inspectorate ordered the Internal Control Department to carry out inspections to take legal measures,” IPJ Dâmboviţa notes.
