Singer Alex Velea posted an Instagram story on Sunday evening in which he says he has nothing to do with an incident at a hotel in Padina, Dambovitsa County, where a man was fatally stabbed.

Alex Velea clarifies that he was in the hotel room at the time of the incident.

“Hello everyone. I am trying to recover from the shock of the tragedy that happened last night at an event that I also attended with Antonia. Regarding the information that appeared in the press, I want to inform you that I have nothing to do with unfortunate incident. I was just talking to everyone as I usually do through work. I was in my hotel room when the tragedy happened, but I found out about it later and was shocked. I hate violence and any kind of fighting. I can’t believe it , that the evening, during which everyone felt good, ended like this,” wrote Alex Velea on Instagram, reports the Agerpres agency.

41-year-old man from Tirgovishte was fatally stabbed Saturday night into Sunday at the Belmont Hotel from the mountain tourist area of ​​Padina.

Police said there are three suspects, three men from Bucharest aged between 19 and 32, who have been questioned and detained for 24 hours. According to some judicial sources, some people present at the hotel where the incident took place were also questioned.

The scandal erupted amid a spontaneous conflict at a party in a building attached to the hotel. On Saturday, a concert was held at the hotel, where Alex Veleya, Antonia and Alina Yeremia were present. The incident in which the man was fatally stabbed took place after the concert.
