
Rescuers from Prahov announced on Sunday evening that they had carried out nine interventions this weekend, one of them to recover two people. Not properly equipped, they ventured on a difficult route closed in winter.
“Nine interventions this weekend on the Azuga and Bushteni ski slopes and an action to recover two people in the upper part of the Karaiman valley,” Salvamont Prahova announced on Sunday evening, as quoted by News.ro.
The quoted source claims that the two tourists were not properly equipped for the mountain road.
“Equipped as if for a walk in the city park, they dared to overcome a difficult route, closed in the winter season. They were very lucky to make it to the end, physically exhausted and suffering from hypothermia and hypothermia. We took them to the “Baba Mare” rescue base, where they will be provided with the necessary assistance,” the mountain rescuers said.
During Monday, tourists will be dropped off in Bushten.
