
A large Ukrainian ship has requested Romanian assistance in the Black Sea after a man fell overboard off the Romanian coast, the Romanian Maritime Rescue Agency said.

The SAR APOLLO vessel from the ARSVOM, as well as the MAI vessel, was declared to be the coordinator of the on-site search operations at the indicated location of the MRCC.

According to the specialized website Marinetraffic, the vessel left the Turkish port of Eregli on Thursday morning and is expected to arrive in Sulina on Saturday evening.
