The Belgian Cup first semi-final match between Oostende and Antwerp is scheduled for Thursday 8th February from 21:00 at the Albert Park Stadium, live on Prima Sport 2.
Antwerp (the reigning champions and current Belgian Cup holders) start with the first chance to win and also qualify, against Oostende (a team relegated to the second division last summer) in the first semi-final. -final at Beker van Belg (another finalist will be decided between Club Brugge and Union Saint-Gilloise).

Oostende reached the final of the Belgian Cup just once in the 2016-17 season, when they lost to Sülte-Waregem, scoring 2-2 after 90 minutes, 3-3 after extra time and 2-4 on penalties.
Antwerp started the competition in the Round of 16, where they eliminated Liers (Second Division) 4-1 (d), then progressed to the Round of 16 against Charleroi (First Division) 5 -2 (a ) and in the quarter-finals of Leuven (first league), score 3-2 (d).
Mark van Bommel’s side are 4th in the Pro League after 24 rounds with 41 points, 17 behind leaders Union St. Gillois, and come off the back of a 2-1 home success against Club Brugge.
Antwerp has won four Beker van Belgie trophies, the last being won in the previous tournament, 2022-2023, after a 2-0 final with Mechelen, and lost again in the last act of the competition, in 1975. (0-1 with Anderlecht).
The last head-to-head matches between the two teams took place last season in the Pro League, with Antwerp winning both legs against Oostende by the same score of 3-0.
