Romanians are demanding of the current leaders
“Trust in public figures is one of the strictest forms of trust assessment. In this ranking, we noticed that only two political leaders exceed 30% of very high and fairly high trust. Both Mircea Joane and Emil Bock are coming back from difficult periods of political collapse, both going through successive processes of rethinking, away from the national political scene, one acting on the international stage and the other in local administration. This confirms the fact that the majority of Romanians are very demanding of the current leaders of political parties who are at the forefront of public debate, preferring individuals less active in national politics but with results in their fields of activity,” says Remus Ştefureac, Director of INSCOP Research .
- The survey was conducted by INSCOP Research on the order of News.ro Press Agency. The data were collected from January 16 to 24 by the CATI method (telephone interviews), using a questionnaire. The size of the simple stratified sample is 1100 people, representative of significant socio-demographic categories (gender, age, profession) for the non-institutionalized population of Romania aged 18 and over. The maximum allowable data error is ± 3% with a confidence level of 95%.
