When asked by Realitatea if she is holding on to the mayoralty of the capital, in the context of which party leader Marcel Colacu said that she is a candidate “for now”, Firea replied that she has carried out an analysis and that she is “a valid candidate for Bucharest”.

“If I am ready to take part in the election race, it means that I have done a serious, correct analysis and that I am a valid candidate for Bucharest thanks to my energy, my preparation, I know very well the administrative problems of Bucharest. That is, these polls, which they are talking about, are not bad. I am a fair person, I am from the mass media, I know how political decisions are made: they are not made on the basis of sophistry, they are made on the basis of arguments,” said Gabriela Firea.

However, she was concerned that the candidate from the SDP for the capital city hall was not officially announced.

“This planned misunderstanding does not help the citizens, but I hope that this period will pass and the people of Bucharest will find out who is the real PSD candidate,” she stressed.

Firea said that she “does nothing but the lives of children, her family” and “for the health of people”, and not to join the election race for the Capital.

“I’m a hard-working, energetic, loyal, very important person, I have tenacity, but politics is a team sport and I don’t believe that if you don’t want me, I want you. What does it mean to want me? First of all, let’s speak publicly together at a press conference with the president of the party, the president of the Bucharest organization, the candidate for mayor of Bucharest and the candidates from the 6 sectors, let’s say what our projects are, let’s see how much we can convince the citizens,” said he is Firea.

Asked if political opponents were using the plight of the elderly in care homes, which cost her the family ministership, to remove her from any election race, she said: “Definitely, there were certain politicians who enjoyed a hard time because of it. “. pass

When asked if they were fellow party members, she emphasized “politicians”. “They can also be unfairly removed from their positions.” “Politicians should fight for ideas and principles, not execution.”
