UTA Arad continue to go from strength to strength to ensure their presence in the Romanian Super Lig next season, with the Mircea Rednic-coached side landing a player with two Romanian league titles.

Vlad Morar signed a contract with UTA Arad

Vlad Morar terminated the contract with the Greeks with Niki Volou and returned to the Romanian Super League.

A champion with Farul Constanta in the 2016/2017 and 2022/2023 seasons, the 30-year-old joined UTA and signed as a free agent.

“As of today, Vlad Morar is a new player of UTA. The forward was born on August 1, 1993 in Krishen, is 1.85 tall and hails from Greece, to Niki Volu.

A two-time Romanian champion in 2016/2017 and 2022/23, both with current side Farul Constanta, Morar also won the Romanian Cup in 2012/2013 with Petrolul Ploiesti.

He spent his career at Cluj University, Petrolul Ploiesti, Beitar Jerusalem, Rapid Bucharest, ASA Tirgu Mures, Vitorul Constanta, now Farul Constanta, Panetolikos, UTA Arad, Gaz Metan Medias, Dinamo Bucharest and Farul Constanta.

He collected 150 matches in the Super League, in which he scored 35 goals and provided 8 decisive assists. We welcome him in a red and white shirt and as many achievements as possible with us!” – says the club’s official press release.
