Craiova University – Farul 1-2, in the Super League – the Champion returns to the playoffs

The fans who came to the “Ion Oblemenko” stadium for the first match of the University of Craiova this year had a spectacular match with “Farul”.

The Constantinians opened the scoring in the 15th minute through Brazilian Rivaldinho, who recovered the ball deflected by Laurentiu Popescu into an empty net after Muntian’s shot.

On the other hand, Markovic could have equalized in the final minutes, but his header from the goal line was saved by the opponent’s goalkeeper.

The result moves Farul back into the play-off spot, with Universitat Craiova remaining below Rapid after this stage.
