The incumbent vice mayor of Sector 3, Lucian Yudele, has been chosen by the Union for the Rescue of Romania (USR) to run for mayor of Sector 3, the organization announced on Sunday, News.ro reports.
According to USR, USR President Catalin Drula, Bucharest USR President Vlad Voiculescu, USR parliamentarians and mayors, as well as capital city mayor Nikusor Dan, as well as PMP president Eugene Tomak took part in the candidacy presentation event.
“Today we start the fight for the 3rd sector. Luchan is not an ordinary politician. He is a man who has dedicated his life and career to serving others, a doctor and professional who has seen firsthand the needs, challenges and opportunities of modernizing our community. We have a plan to modernize Sector 3. We have a town hall that we have to win,” said Cătălin Drula, president of USR, during the candidate’s presentation.
According to the formation, in his new capacity as a candidate, Lucian Yudele aims to make a significant contribution to the sustainable development and improvement of the quality of life of the residents of Sector 3.
“Imagine that in sector 3 they built a cardiology hospital, a hospital for internal diseases and, why not?, maybe a rehabilitation clinic. Money for 3 hospitals, which the mayor of Negoiţă thought was better to bury in Hala Laminor, where a new large real estate complex under the Negoiţă brand appeared as if by a miracle. Let’s take Sector 3 out of his hands and give it to managers who will heal Sector 3,” says Lucian Judele, USR’s Sector 3 mayoral candidate.
The president of USR Bucharest, Vlad Voiculescu, claims that the formation needs “people who hate injustice”.
“We want to see people who build and people who are brave. This is what USR has provided wherever people give us power. Lucian Yudele managed to build a successful career before politics and helping people,” says Vlad Voiculescu, president of USR Bucharest.
USR Sector 3 emphasizes that this nomination represents a firm commitment to transparency, accountability and active community consultation when making important decisions for the future of Sector 3.
