With a near-perfect run in the league where they sit top after 18 rounds, PAOK Thessaloniki are also close to reaching the semi-finals of the Greek Cup.

Rezvan Lucescu’s side opened the scoring after just eight minutes through Ivan Nasberg, away to Panserraikos, who are ninth in the Premier League.

In the 22nd minute, Sastre doubled the lead, and in the 55th, Brandon Thomas missed an 11-yard shot.

However, the team from Thessaloniki scored twice more in the second half, through Marko Antonio and Živković, and a return to the quarter-finals remains only a formality.

PAOK has won the Greek Cup eight times, the last in 2021.

Rezvan Lucescu, for his part, has won the trophy twice, and in the last two seasons he has been defeated in the final.
