A serious traffic accident occurred on Monday evening in Magurele commune in Prahova county, where two cars violently collided. As a result of the impact, the driver of one of the cars was thrown from the car. Both drivers died, one of them is in the hospital. Two children, aged approximately 3 and 4 years, who were also involved in the accident, escaped with less serious injuries, writes News.ro.

Initially, the Prahova police reported that a 31-year-old man died as a result of the accident, two passengers, aged 3 and 4, respectively, were injured, as well as another driver, a 32-year-old man, who were transported to the hospital for specialized medical care.

The second driver later died in hospital.

The accident occurred after the driver of a passenger car, overtaking a parked car, collided with it, and then ricocheted into another car that was driving along.

Traffic in the area was blocked, directed to a detour.
