Following the signings of Alan Aussi, Petar Mamic and Omar El-Kaddouri, CFR Cluj completed their fourth transfer of the winter on Saturday, with the Transylvanian side clearly intent on challenging for the Romanian Superliga title.

Sitting 2nd in the league, 8 points behind leaders FCSB, the Transylvanians introduced Kader Keita on Saturday last at Sivasspor.

“The clubs CFR 1907 Cluj and Sivasspor have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of the player Kader Keita to Gruia.

The 23-year-old Ivorian midfielder was brought up in France at the LOSC Lille academy. Kader later played in the first division in Belgium, KVC Westerlo, as well as in the first division of Switzerland, for FC Sion.

For the last year and a half, Keita has been a player for Sivasspor, our former rival in the Conference League, for whom he made 31 appearances.

So far, Kader Keita has played three matches for the national team of Côte d’Ivoire, the representative team with which he also participated in the Olympic Games,” CFR Cluj said on social media.

In the first stage of 2024, CFR Cluj will face the last ranked FC Botosani on Sunday, January 21, at 15:00.
