
The claims of transporters and farmers are complex and cannot be resolved overnight, said the prefect of the capital, Raresh Gopincha, Agerpres reports.
“I entered the framework of the dialogue (…), there are 22 points, but each point has several sub-points. These claims were presented to the Prime Minister of Romania, a work program was created to analyze and resolve them, but we must understand the following – these are complex requests. These are not measures that can be solved from one day to the next, because they belong to the competence and responsibility of several state institutions,” Rares Hopincha said on Romanian television on Friday.
He noted that there are some “systemic problems” that have been going on for decades.
He noted that the Minister of Agriculture held constant consultations with representative associations of farmers, as did the Minister of Transport.
The Prefect of the capital noted that the Government should pay subsidies in agriculture at the end of May and that 95% of them have been paid so far.
On Friday at the Victoria Palace, Prime Minister Marcel Čolaku held consultations with representatives of transporters and farmers, during which the problems reported by the representatives of the two sectors of activity, legal solutions in accordance with the norms at the European level, and the way of their approval were analyzed .
According to the Government’s press release, a tight schedule of specific meetings has been established with ministries and departments that have the authority to resolve certain issues that were discussed during the meeting.
