
An unknown man attacked a man from Bucharest on the street in Sector 1 right after he parked his car, News.ro reported. The aggressor was identified and detained by the police, he was hospitalized at the Obregiya hospital.
“On January 8, 2024, around 10:00 p.m., the Bucharest Municipality Police Headquarters – Section 5 was notified through the 112 system that he had been physically assaulted by a person. Having promptly arrived at the scene, the police found and identified a 33-year-old man suspected of committing a crime,” the Metropolitan Police reported on Thursday.
According to the source, a 33-year-old man physically assaulted the victim while he was parking his car in front of a building in Sector 1, and then hit him and destroyed his laptop.
“Both men were taken to the headquarters of the unit for further investigation. Since the victim complained of pain, the emergency medical team took him to the hospital for additional assistance. A 33-year-old man was also hospitalized in the infirmary for specialized care,” the source said.
The investigation continues by the 5th police department under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office of the 1st district court into the fact of committing crimes related to destruction, running over or other violence.
In social networks, the victim said that he parked the car on Episkopula Vulkan Street, opposite house No. 79, and collected things from the car.
“Suddenly, an unknown man – I have never seen him in my life – who was crossing the road, hit the windshield hard with his fist. I was convinced that it was a mistake (…) I calmly asked him if it was a confusion (…) I asked as calmly as possible, I am not a rebellious nature (…) The man started directly punching me in the face , head, stomach,” the victim said on social networks on Thursday.
“I’m writing only now because I’m still shaking and it’s hard to talk about some moments I want to forget,” the man said.
He reports that the aggressor got a “gray object” at one point.
“I stuck a knife in you,” the aggressor would shout.
