
The Ministry of Education announced on Tuesday evening that classes will be suspended on Wednesday in several schools in the counties of Breil, Iasi and Niamc.
“The Ministry of Education organized today a video conference in which the Minister of Education Ligia Deka, State Secretary Ionel Florian Lixandrou and general inspectors of schools took part, in the context of which, due to adverse weather conditions, activities with a physical presence in educational institutions have been suspended in several counties,” – it is stated in the messages of the Ministry of Education.
According to him, from Wednesday in most schools, where activities were suspended, classes with physical presence will resume.
However, “the physical presence suspension measure will remain in place tomorrow, January 10, at schools in the following districts:
• Brăila: academic unit (structure) based on the decision of the unit administration board
• Iasi: 8 educational units, based on the decision of the administrative council of the unit
• Neamts: 2 educational subdivisions, based on the decision of the administrative council of the subdivision.”
The Ministry of Education clarifies that the resumption of pedagogical activity on January 9 will take place within the framework of the program established at the level of administrative councils of educational institutions.
