
The Traffic Information Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police reported on Tuesday morning that due to adverse weather conditions (blizzard), traffic was stopped on five national roads of Moldova, and restrictions were in effect on four others.
Traffic is stopped on state roads:
- DN 23B Stupina-Choresti, Vrancha county
- DN 28A Tirgu Frumos – Motsa, Iasi county
- DN 11A Bârlad – Ivești, Vaslui district
- DN 24A Husi – Berezeni, Vaslui district
- DN 24 Cosmești – Tișita, Vranca county
According to CJ Vrancea, traffic was stopped in the county and on five county roads due to the blizzard.
Teams of the Section of National Roads of Bjarlad intervene with a road cutter to restore traffic on DN 24B, Husi – Albita, Vaslui County. Strong blizzards are recorded in this area, so a tonnage limit of 7.5 tons has been introduced.
Motor roads of national importance with a tonnage limit of more than 7.5 tons:
- DN 24B Albita – Khushi, Vaslui district
- DN 28 Kozya, Iasi county – Albita, Vaslui county
- DN 15D Roman – Crăiesti, Neamc county
- DN 29 Racitsi – Seveni, Botosani county
Because of the wind, maneuvers in all Black Sea ports have been suspended.
