The game was scheduled for Sunday but was postponed to today due to electrical problems.
Ahomach opened the scoring in the 82nd minute for Villarreal, but the hosts restored parity 5 minutes later thanks to Planas, who converted a shot from 11 yards.
In the 120th minute, it came to a penalty shootout, and Alberto Moreno and Kiko did not miss for the “yellow submarine”. Adrian Gomez scored the decisive blow.
