The Racilor Tavern in a shopping center in Cluj-Napoca was closed on Friday after an inspection by the fire department, Cluj24 reports. Entrepreneur Paul Nicolaou illegally built the terrace of a new restaurant opened a month ago, which did not even have a fire safety permit.

“After inspections by ISU Cluj specialists, shortcomings and serious violations of fire safety requirements were discovered. Thus, it was established that this premises does not have fire extinguishers, which are mandatory for the number of customers that were discovered at the time of inspection, and the terrace, which is adjacent to the premises of the shopping complex, does not have a construction permit. . In connection with this, a fine of 105,000 lei was applied and an additional measure was applied in the form of termination of operation and use of the relevant premises,” the firefighters reported.
