Romania lost in the first Yellow Cup match before the start of the European Handball Championship in Germany.

The tricolor national team lost the dispute with Switzerland with a score of 37-31, after the break the score was 15-11 in favor of the Swiss.

Romania will play Argentina again on January 5 at 18:45 and Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 6 at 15:00.

In preparation for the EC against Germany, Romania also played friendlies, namely: 28-38 with Montenegro, 21-40 with France, 31-27 with Greece and 31-25 with Georgia, the last two in the Carpathian Trophy. , which he won, reports news.ro.

The national team will go to Germany on January 8, and will play in Group B of the European Championship with Austria (January 12), Spain (January 14) and Croatia (January 16). The first two places will go to the main groups.
