The match at Parc des Princes between the title winners and last season’s Cup winners was decided in the first half.

PSG opened the scoring in the 3rd minute through South Korean Lee Kang-in after an assist from Dembele.

Kylian Mbappe doubled Luis Enrique’s side’s lead shortly before half-time and the scoreboard remained unchanged in the second half.

Thus, PSG retained the trophy won in the previous season, resulting in 12 French Super Cups.

In this section, the Parisians boast a record that is difficult to equal.

Between 2013 and 2020, they managed to win eight trophies in a row, and in the last 11 seasons they have lost only one Super Cup in 2021 – to Lille.
