American Mikaela Shiffrin on Friday won her second slalom in two days in Lienz (Austria) and thus ended the year with her 93rd victory in the Alpine Skiing World Cup, reports AFP.

As in the giant slalom on Thursday, Mikaela Shiffrin, a five-time winner of the big crystal ball, decided the race even after the first stage, ahead of her rivals by more than a second.

Having also controlled the second segment, the American showed 1 min 48 s 75/100, having a huge advantage of 2 s 34/100 compared to the second German Lena Durr.

The Swiss Michelle Gizin (+2 sec. 45) took the podium.

At the age of 28, the best female skier of all time, with a record number of World Cup victories, ended 2023 with her 93rd success on this track, reports Agerpres.

In the World Cup, she has 56 victories in slalom, her favorite sport.

The Women’s Alpine Skiing World Cup will continue on January 6 and 7 in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia.
