
One of the three suspects in the case of the murder of businessman Adrian Kreiner will be brought to the country on Friday, Sibiu District Police Chief, Quaestor Tiberiu Ivancha, confirmed to Agerpres. It will be recalled that Adrian Kreiner was killed at the beginning of November. The man was found on the couch in the living room, tied in a torture position that caused severe pain. His daughter, who was found upstairs, was repeatedly threatened with a gun by the three assailants, according to investigators.
Two men who allegedly beat and killed businessman Adrian Kreiner from Sibiu have been caught in Great Britain, one in Scotland – Laurentiu Gice, another in Northern Ireland – Marian Christian Minae. Romanian police are still looking for the third suspect, Cosmin Kostinel Zuleam.
“I was informed that one of the two will be brought to the country,” Ivancha said.
Legal sources told Agerpres that Laurenciu Gice will be brought to Romania from Scotland.
A Sibiu court has issued arrest warrants in absentia for three accused of aggravated murder and aggravated robbery.
On November 6, businessman Adrian Kreiner was killed in his home. The perpetrators of the crime managed to flee the country, and one of their accomplices from the county of Timișoara, Ilie Sitariu, was caught and taken into custody. The man is accused of assisting three perpetrators of crime and robbery, as well as helping one of them to leave the country.
