Petrolul prepares to replace coach Florin Pirva – List of three names to replace him

With just one win in his last eight games, Florin Pirvu could leave the Petrolul Ploiesti bench in the coming days.

After the home draw with Rapid, a match in which Giulesti dominated from the 6th minute, Ploiesti fans were fired up and demanded a report from the coach.

Shareholder Marian Kopilu took a stand and offered Pirv to terminate the contract.

Should the split go ahead, Petrolul have three names on the list to replace him: László Balint, Florin Bratu and Jonuc Badea, all out-of-contract coaches, according to PlaySport.

After almost two years at the helm, Florin Pirvo leaves the Ploiesti side in tenth place in the Superliga standings with 27 points, three short of the last place in the playoffs.
