A driver from Bucharest was fined and faces a 60-day disqualification after he drove his car on Sunday on the Transalpina, a road that is not open to traffic this time of year due to snow, News .ro reported. In addition, the driver could not reach the destination, he was removed from the road with the help of a snow plow.

The driver, aged 39, from Bucharest, was identified on DN 67 C – Transalpina by police officers of the Novaci Municipal Police.

He tried to leave the RĂ¢nca resort but got stuck in traffic with his car, a white BMW.

“Due to the adverse weather conditions, the man was unable to reach the desired destination, he was transported back to the resort by a van intended for snow removal,” – reports the police of the Gorzh district.

Craiova’s DRDP released photos of road users berating a man for breaking the law, accusing him of putting their lives at risk because of him.

The police drew up a violation report in the amount of 1,160 lei, and the driver’s driver’s license was revoked for 60 days.

The police urge drivers to obey traffic rules, stressing that there are situations when ignoring them poses a threat to their lives and the lives of others.
