Current Superliga leader FCSB officially announced the transfer of Bab Alhassan from FC Hermannstadt on Saturday

Baba Alhassan, from FC Hermannstadt to FCSB leader

The 23-year-old midfielder will join the team coached by Elias Charalambous on January 8, 2024.

According to FCSB, the football player will wear the 42nd shirt in his new team.

Born on January 3, 2000 in Accra, Ghana, Baba Alhassan also played for Valladolid U19 before joining Hermannstadt on a free transfer in 2020.

According to Transfermarkt, Baba’s market share is currently 850,000 euros, and FCSB paid 700,000 euros for the midfielder.

Central midfielder Baba is 1.86 meters tall and had a contract with Hermannstadt until June 30, 2028.

FCSB will be parting ways with several players this winter, blacklisting Gigi Becali, Doreen Rotariou, Christie Ganea, Andrea Compagno, Eduard Radaslavescu and Damian Djokovic.

After 21 stages of the current Romanian Football Super League season, FCSB is in first place with 44 points.

The Bucharest group is followed by CFR Cluj (36 points), Universitat Craiova (34), Rapid Bucharest (33), Sepsi (30), Farul Constanta (30) and FC Hermannstadt (29).
