Almost 100 students studied in the destroyed boarding school in Odorheiu-Secuiesk. A 17-year-old female student was killed and three other girls were injured after a hostel wall collapsed around 4.30pm on Monday.

As reported by Agerpres, 97 students were placed in the Tamasi Aron boarding high school in Odorhei Secuiesc. Most of the children were not in the building when part of it collapsed. At the time of the tragedy, there were only four students in the boarding school.

The teenager was conscious and communicating with firefighters during the rescue operation, but lost consciousness after being pulled from the rubble.

Doctors started resuscitation measures, but it was not possible to save his life.
