A person with dual Romanian-Israeli citizenship held hostage in the Gaza Strip has died in captivity, the Romanian Foreign Ministry said Saturday evening. It would be about a young 27-year-old student, Israeli media reports.

Israeli authorities have reported the death of a man with dual Israeli-Romanian citizenship who was being held hostage in the Gaza Strip, the Foreign Ministry said.

He is the third Romanian citizen taken hostage by Hamas to die in the Gaza Strip.

Currently, a dual citizen of Israel and Romania is still a hostage in the Gaza Strip, in the context of which “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the need to release all hostages in the Gaza Strip.”

It would be about a young 27-year-old student, Israeli media reports.

The Forum for Families of Hostages and Missing Persons announced Saturday that 27-year-old Inbar Haiman was killed after being kidnapped by terrorists in an October 7 attack led by Hamas, The Times of Israel reported.

Hyman was an art student in Haifa, and on October 7 she was kidnapped by Hamas fighters from the Nova music festival, where terrorists killed hundreds of people.
